Welcome to Loona Impact

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Loona Impact website and services. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must also agree to these Terms on your behalf.

Eligibility

Our programs are designed for high school students ages 14–18 (grades 9–12). To create an account and apply to programs, you must be at least 14 years old and have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians may also create accounts to manage their student's enrollment.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password with others. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@buildloona.com.

Program Enrollment & Payments

• Some programs require payment. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Program fees, schedules, and requirements are listed on each program's page. By enrolling, you agree to the terms specific to that program.
• Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at hello@buildloona.com for refund inquiries.
• We reserve the right to cancel or modify programs. If we cancel a program, enrolled participants will receive a full refund.

Acceptable Use

When using our platform, you agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading information in applications.
• Harass, bully, or threaten other users.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data.
• Use the platform for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited by these Terms.
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any original work you create during our programs — your projects, essays, and ideas are yours. By submitting application materials, you grant Loona Impact a limited license to review and evaluate them for enrollment purposes. We may use anonymized, aggregated data about program outcomes for reporting and marketing, but we will never publish your personal work without your explicit permission.

Limitation of Liability

Loona Impact provides its platform and programs "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
