Who can add Mentorship?
Mentorship is available to any student enrolled in or who has completed the Build cohort. It’s designed as a complement to the cohort experience — deeper, more personalized guidance on top of what you’re already building.
Who are the mentors?
Our mentors are practicing founders, product builders, and industry professionals who have built and shipped real products. Each mentor is selected for their ability to coach, their relevant experience, and their commitment to helping students grow.
What is the time commitment?
One hour per week with your mentor, plus the time you’re already spending in Build. Mentorship runs for 10 weeks alongside your cohort or as a standalone continuation after Build.
Can I do Mentorship alongside Build?
Yes — that’s the most common path. You get the structured cohort experience from Build and dedicated 1:1 guidance from your mentor. The two work together to accelerate your growth.
Can I do Mentorship after Build?
Absolutely. Many students add Mentorship after completing a Build cohort to keep developing their product or start something new with personalized guidance.
How is this different from the group sessions in Build?
Build’s live sessions are group-based — check-ins, coaching, and peer collaboration. Mentorship is fully 1:1. Your mentor works with you on your specific challenges, your specific product, at your pace. It’s a level of personalization the cohort can’t provide.
