The simplest version of a product or service that can be launched to test an idea and gather feedback from real users.

A minimum viable product, commonly called an MVP, is a concept from the startup world that has become essential in entrepreneurship as well. The idea is straightforward: instead of spending months or years building a perfect, fully featured solution, you create the most basic version that still delivers value and put it in front of real users as quickly as possible. The goal is to learn, not to impress.
